BAVARIAN BIERHAUS TO HOST GERMAN CHRISTMAS DINNER

Enjoy a night off from cooking with a special, traditional menu

Bavarian Bierhaus located at the Opry Mills Shopping Center

On Monday, Dec. 23, the Bavarian Bierhaus will host a Christmas Dinner with a special menu of traditional German dishes. With seatings available at 6, 7 and 8 p.m., guests will enjoy a four course, family-style meal along with festive, traditional live music. There will also be Glühwein (German spiced mulled wine) for the adults available for purchase.

“Christmas is a beautiful time in Germany, especially in Bavaria. Everything is decorated, Christkindlmarkts pop up in town centers and most importantly, families enjoy celebrating together with festive meals,” said Bob Krumm, co-founder of Bavarian Bierhaus. “We bring a little bit of Germany to Nashville throughout the year, but we are especially excited to share this tradition with the local community during this annual event.”

German Gifts at Bavarian Bierhaus

With 15,000-square-feet of interior space and large wooden tables perfect for large groups, or storing your shopping bags, Bavarian Bierhaus offers a great option for a relaxing meal with the family and friends after a busy day of Christmas preparations.

Christmas dinner guests can explore the gift shop, which is full of unique gift options for the holiday season. The shop at Bavarian Bierhaus has many seasonal specialties such as handblown glass ornaments, German chocolates and candies, cuckoo clocks, handcrafted nutcrackers, smokers and more, all imported from Germany. Visitors can also check out the Stein Club. Modeled after similar clubs in bierhalls across Germany, the Bavarian Bierhaus Stein Club offers a locker to store treasured steins as well as food and bier discounts all year long. These Stein Club memberships make for great Christmas presents.

This dinner will be prix-fixe and cost $35 for adults (not including alcohol) and $15 for children under 12 years of age. Bavarian Bierhaus is a piece of Munich in Music City where it’s Oktoberfest every day. The restaurant and beer hall celebrates all things Bavaria through its food, entertainment, dress and of course, bier. The restaurant offers 12 taps from German breweries, as well as a stein club program for loyal guests and beer enthusiasts to receive perks including discounts and their own stein locker at the beer hall.

The menu is created by Executive Chef Dennis Stukel, who boasts experience at a Michelin-star restaurant in Germany, and features homestyle German favorites prepared fresh in house such as a giant pretzel with sweet mustard, potato pancakes, Reuben rolls, beer cheese soup, chicken schnitzel, a wurst plate and Oktoberfest chicken. From look to taste to sound, the experience remains authentic with live entertainment including German music and polka bands.

Bavarian Bierhaus is located at 121 Opry Mills Drive, Suite 315 (including an interior and exterior entrance from Opry Mills) and is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information or to view the menu and live entertainment calendar, visit www.bierhausnashville.com, and connect with Bavarian Bierhaus on Facebook and Instagram.
