Get ready to brew like a chef. The connection between beer and food goes far beyond the occasional beer dinner. Beer is food. In this Beverage Workshop, our friends at Moody Tongue will guide you through a beer tasting with culinary roots, served up with delicious bites that pair perfectly. Their chef-driven beers forge the connection between the kitchen and their brewery, focusing on the flavors of the ingredients and the aromatic suds to pair with food. We promise you can taste the difference.

7:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Class is in session! Grab your backpacks and get ready to head back to school for a culinary homecoming. You’ll be transported to the locker-lined hallways of school days’ past as spirited chefs and beverage professionals reimagine bites + sips from the good ol’ days. Smile for the camera as you recreate your yearbook photo, cheer alongside a live marching band, or cut a rug to the sounds of The Spazmatics. Either way, don’t get caught sleeping, this one is sure to be an A+.

March 6
2:00 – 4:30 PM

Pop cans, not bottles!  We’re debunking the myth that wine in cans + kegs can’t compete with their bottled brethren. This Instagram-worthy event features a variety of beautiful wines. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Charleston Harbor while indulging in delicious bites prepared by top-notch chefs between sips. Tickets for this poppin’ event are priced at $95.

Grab your passport and get ready for an international culinary experience at Night Bazaar! A new addition to the festival this year, see Holy City Brewing Co. transform into a multicultural market that offers a vast array of foods and beverages unique to each of the three nights.  Dance to live music and DJs while enjoying the flavors of a far-off destination.

4:00 – 5:30 PM
Join us at Royal American, a place that has no trouble attracting a crowd following. For this happy hour mashup you can expect hip hop vibes, cool cocktail punches, zero-proof mocktails, and delicious bites served up by Colleen Quarls of Turkey and the Wolf and The Royal American team. This comfortable, no-frills atmosphere is perfect for a mid-afternoon hangout during festival week.
